massage table

I know some of the people who read this know bodyworkers, so I'll put out this feeler... I'm looking for a gently used massage table. If anyone has one they're ready to part with or knows someone for whom bodywork never panned out, please connect with me. Thank you...

but BJ's is selling (portable) massage tables these days, for fairly light money (like $100). I don't know the quality and am a bad judge of these things.
If you don't have a membership tell me what nights you're free and we can go take a look at them.

Yeah... Tom has a membership so I checked it out. It's not particularly lightweight, and the quality is on par with a $170 table. Good quality tables start in the $300 range and they only go up from there. My current table was $550 and still retails for about that.

I've thought about sacrificing quality for cost but I know unnerving it is to be naked on a table that squeaks and or wiggles. It just doesn't add to the feeling of safety, security and trust. Even the table I have now makes some scary cracking noises from time to time that don't seem to indicate real damage, but it's enough to freak out the client and make them worry that they're going to break the table.

Thanks for the idea though! I'm probably going to buy a new one... I just have to search the online catalogs and find the best price on what I want :)

I assume you're looking for a folding one, not a stationary? ;) I'll put out some extra feelers for you... (I will not make that sound dirty, I will not... shit.)

I can make do with either a portable or stationary table. My current table is a portable (although it's more easily transported by someone taller than me) so if I get one that's stationary I'll just put the stationary one in the office.

Thanks for lookin' out for me :)
