chicago is kind of known for being a city you don't wanna walk around in after dark, isn't it?

well i mean, it depends on where you are, it's not any worse or better than say New York. It's definitely no Detroit. I mean people have to walk around at nite if they have a social life, it's not like you could stay inside past 10.

yeahh. but the difference (from what i know, which i'll admit is very little, so please don't write me off as just ignorant) is that new york doesn't really sleep, and chicago sort of does.. but do correct me if im wrong?

heh. That's what the proverbial "THEY" say. I've never been to new york. I've been in chicago in the middle of the night plenty and yeah, i'd say that there are definitely area's where its like lansing or something at night. But i mean that's not to say there aren't parties and clubs and a shit ton of 20 somethings wandering around riding the red line as well
