It would have been a damned long walk back to civilisation from the glen where the werewolf disaster had taken place, but some god who looks after weary travelers is working overtime today. THIS IS THE AIRPORT. Zuko knows what this is. Which is why he's following after Wells with massive, goggle-eyes. He's totally entraced! Shocked! LOOK AT HIM!

...he's also following about a little haphazardly, trying to figure out the PEOPLE and the THINGS and the FOOD and the WHAT IS THAT OVER THERE? HOW DOES THAT WORK? Why are they WAVING THINGS AT HIM!

Culture shock? Yes. But here, the price is just some kid, so he's... sort of acting it.

Wells grins. Scotland might not be his country exactly, and this might be a civilian installation rather than a military one, but he's still proud of the effect it's having. Every so often he points out this or that item and does his best to explain it, although not so often as to slow them down excessively. It's a small airport and the truck driver said they were going to have to hurry if they wanted to catch any kind of usable flight back. And Wells really wants a plane ride back to London, 'cos tonight is night-after-full-moon and changing on a train south? UGH. Just UGH ( ... )

Zuko is picking up the language,considering part of it IS spoken where he's from. But it's also a clusterfuck of everything Asian. But he nods quietly, an sits with the baggage, still looking sort of in shock.

Especially when a girl in a tube top toddles by. OH MY GOD. THEY'RE ALL HEATHENS HERE.

...he's going to need a valium if he's going to get a whit of sleep EVER.

And this? This is SCOTLAND. This is a TINY LITTLE TOWN with a municipal airport in Scotland. Wait until he hits London.

... anyway, Wells returns from the bathroom a bit later, having washed his hands and then totally undone all his hygiene precautions by touching a public telephone and making a quick call. Doesn't matter now, though. "Ready to fly, Zuko?" he calls with a grin. One piece of paper is passed to the young man. "Come on- let's not keep the pilot waiting, eh?"
