I leave bright and early tomorrow morning for New York. I've never been to New York city before and I'm fairly excited. At this point it still feels a bit unreal though - like it's not really going to happen. I suppose this might be partially because I have not yet packed a single stitch for the trip

Enjoy New York! And take pictures! If you don't have a camera, hunt Joel down and make him loan you my old digicam if it still works. :-) Unless you don't want to take pictures, in which case don't. ;-)

It will be a bit long but my plan is to try to sleep through a bunch of the trip there. I learned how to sleep on a crowded bus when I toured Europe.

The itinerary shows there will be sex and the city episodes running the whole trip - games - and apparently mimosas and munchies on the bus.

I love travelling, too. Seeing new places, new sights, new sounds, new smells, new food, new accents (I love accents) - it's amazing. My only problem is the adjustment time for a new bed usually takes longer than the time spent in the bed itself, so I usually take along my own pillow whenever I can.

Have a PHENOMENAL time. New York is an experience in itself.
