The problem with Death Proof was mainly the ending. The first half of it was decent. Not as fun as Planet Terror but the build up to the eventual car crash scene was more or less spot-on. Then we get to the second half. We're given these four girls, one who wants to buy this car a shaggy-looking guy is selling. Said girl wants to give the car a spin but only to play a dangerous game on it. To distract the shaggy guy from getting suspicious of what they could be doing with the car, the girl lies to the guy that one of their friends (who's currently sleeping in a chair by the guy's house) is the star of a porno they're making, and says that she'll probably let him do whatever he wants with her. Keep in mind that this girl is the shy, reluctant one of the group. So when the shy girl wakes up, her three friends are in the car, telling that the shaggy guy'll take care of her and they drive off
