Mine got out on Wednesday, too. Or Thursday, if you count the awards/graduation ceremony as a school day...
I really want to see The Exorcist because I haven't been scared out of my mind since War of the Worlds but I also really don't want to see it because I don't want to be as scared out of my mind as I was after War of the Worlds and thus lose sleep over it. Decisions, decisions.
Put so perfectly! I completely agree. =] Although... I do love Toy Story.
I was pretty skeptical about Cars too. Like you said, the trailer didn't do the movie much justice. But I must say, I'm impressed. Also like you said, the middle did drag a bit... But the opening scene, in my opinion, was very good. :O Not even 5 minutes into the movie I was rooting for certain characters and totally captivated. Pixar is very good with that, I think. But I was especially impressed this time.
Anyway. Sorry to basically restate what you said. I'm just jumping at the chance to talk to someone about this, though, because I'm the only animation nut really in my group of friends. XD;
I like Toy Story too, but...something about it just didn't agree with me. I think it may be just that it brings back bad memories. XD It's a brilliant movie otherwise, just not in my top 5.
I've been out for... a week? Two weeks? xD; My least favorite teacher made a total idiot out of herself at our awards ceremony. And proved how out of shape she is in the process. She's fat. That was the only form of entertainment there... xDD
I watched part of Psycho once. I have... unusual timing and I turned it on EXACTLY when that part was starting. (The shower scene) xD; I want to watch the rest sometime.
Must. Watch. Bunny. Movie. I love those. xD But I can't watch it. It's too late at night for me to make noise... :/
It was so funny. She thought she was being cute and did this little run and jump with a ta-da. (Everyone's eyes were bleeding at this point) And she was out of breath the rest of the time from just that. We all thought she was going to have a heart attack. xDD

My favourite part about Cars was that credits scene, where they watched all these old Pixar films, the car version!
