sending food overseas

hello ladies...i'm sending my guy homemade sugar cookies (to japan) and i'm wondering if i can just send them in regular ol' tupper-ware. yay or nay?

You can, but in my experience they break. What worked the best for me was putting them in quart sized ziplock bags and sucking all the air out and using air-popped popcorn as padding. If you don't have an airpopper you can put regular kernels in a brown lunch bag and stick it in the microwave for a few minutes. If the cookies are round with a small diameter, I have heard pringles cans work well. Basicly, anything that keeps them from hitting each other works best, but even if they arrive broken I am positive your guy won't care. :)

I always bought the disposable tupperware. Then I lined it with papertowels. Then the cookies with wax paper between layers so they didnt stick. After that white bread on the top. I padded any space with more papertowels. When I did it that way no matter how long it took they always arrived fresh and unbroken.

i sent with tupperware and wax paper and they arrived whole and as moist as when I had made them.

I use ziplock containers, never had a problem with them breaking. Put a piece of bread in with the cookies and they'll stay moist.
