I'd like to certify as a Dog Rescue team (either cadaver, wilderness search and rescue, or urban disaster rescue.)

I'd like to teach children about animal cruelty.

Yea. I've done some education in the past through several... all... of my animal welfare jobs and I really enjoy it, but I'd like to catch them young and teach them what's ok and not ok, etc. at a younger age you know? I have way too many dream jobs lol

haha way too many dream jobs... hear you on that. i'm hoping for anything animal related though. i just left an awesome job at a kennel.

and about the catching them when they're young, the daycare i once worked for put a huge emphasis on animals. it was pretty cool. the lady who owned it had a couple of dogs that came every day to the daycare and i always thought that made ours so much better than others haha!

I want to learn how to do "guy" things, I have not being able to do them. Things like work on my own car, build things, actually know how to use tools, etc. My SO doesn't even know how to do that kind of stuff so basically we're fucked. Also, I'd like to be able to speak Spanish, and maybe learn how to use my Photoshop I've had for almost a year... *cough*

I already teach people how to write better or fix what they've already done, and I love it. I love helping people figure out how to be creative. I also would like to teach people how to do old school darkroom photography, because it's a dying art and I think that's a shame.

I totally agree, after my first darkroom class (also my first photography class, conveniently, lol) I've never thought the same about digital photography. There's just something about the fact that, if you really wanted to, you could make the camera and the editing program/computer do all the work for you that really creeps me out. Also I get really excited waiting to see if I screwed everything up or if it comes out brilliantly, heh.

I want to learn how to knit! I tried around Christmas time to have my sister in law teach me, but I forgot how already. I've bought the kits that teach you how, but I just can't figure it out from paper!

cool...i'm thinking i'll love it, too! i watch it on TV soooo much (the boy and i watched it last night, as a matter of fact!), and i even bought a book at the $1 spot at target called 'poker for dummies'. that left me a little confused, however i'm learning from what i see on TV.

the ultimate would be for me to be a poker goddess and win some $$! LoL!

Hmmm, what i WANT to learn to do is scuba dive. The vman promised he'd teach me when he got home, so hopefully that's covered.

I SHOULD learn carpentry. Owning a house, it's a skill that comes in dead handy. I do a bit of it now, but i really suck at it. Ditto laying tile - I need to improve at that a lot.

I'd like to teach others how to make icons and macros, lmao! I'm a graphic artist by profession, so it's easy for me.

And yes, I do know CPR. It's true - everyone should know that and the Heimlich maneuver.
