Paper Chain

So, as one of his suggestions to help me get through his deployment, Adam suggested that I make a paper chain, adding on a link for every day that he is gone. apparently it would give me something to do.

On each link, I'm writing a quote or a quick note about my day or how much I love him, or a memory that I treasure or something I'm looking forward

I did the exact same thing when my husband was deployed. The community craft_corner_ also has tons of other ideas to help with deployments.

I really like this idea. Although my SO doesn't leave for another 2 months, I am already starting to feel like the days are counting down. Ideas like this make me feel like perhaps it wont be so bad :)

That's a really cute idea. However, with 15 month deployments, that thing would cover my entire bedroom! lol! Cute idea though!
