few questions about bubble-envelopes

Dec 21, 2007 16:25

Is it possible to send one of those bubble-lined envelopes with a food product to Iraq?  I wasn't sure if there were any restrictions or something.  And do I just send it like a normal letter (with a few stamps), or do I have to take it to the post office?  If so, how expensive would it be?

Thanks for any help!

I wouldn't advise using a bubble envelope just because of the distance it has to go and how rough things are handled. Boxes are better. Either way, you would have to go to the PO because it would have to have a customs form on it. Price wise, it's the same as sending it anywhere else. There aren't any extra charges to my knowledge. I've sent many many many packages, most of those being flat rate boxes, and it's just been normal shipping.
