What's the usual number of team members....?

Yes, we all know about Hollywood, like how the A-Team has four guys and such, but, really, what would an average special ops team be composed of? How many? I'm looking for Ranger/Delta type specifically.

I'm currently reading 'No Easy Day', an autobiography by Mark Owen, and the mission I read about earlier today, he's talking about teams of eight (there are 3 teams of eight on this particular mission). He's a Navy SEAL but it might be similar in other branches of the military. They're so secretive it's difficult to get accurate info. I'm not sure about Ranger/Delta but maybe this will give you a starting point. I hope it helps some!

Rangers/Delta can be anywhere from a four man team to an entire battalion. Recon teams are usually four to six. SEAL teams are four to eight. All depends on the mission.
