#43 Blueberry Hill was patriotic. There were red, white and blue streamers, balloons and sparkly confetti all over the place.

A large grill was set up in the backyard and Dick was even wearing an apron.

Karla was utterly fascinated by all the food, so she was really just kind of wandering around and looking at it.

Jaenelle was also very curious about this kind of food and the way some of it was being prepared.

Mrs. Beale had never prepared anything like this, before.
