Village Streets; Tuesday Night.

Pretty sure that she had some sort of duty to do so, or something, Evangeline was out in the middle of the night, stalking the shadows of the village. Well, she wasn't stalking so much as she was simply just getting a good look at the place and trying to find out where the good stalking spots might be, but, well, titling was such an unnecessary

Nadia was out for a run after class.

Which, of course, meant she was leaping from walls onto street benches and cars and things.

Evangeline arched an eyebrow as she thought she saw something leaping and stuff. Looks like someone might have already beaten her to claiming stalking turf. Well, bugger. She folded her arms in front of her to watch for a nice spot that left her dramatically half-shadowed in the light of a lamppost to watch for more leaping and stuff.

Nadia aimed for a streetlamp to get in a quick change of direction. Possibly right into the dramatically half-shadowed figure.

Oops.

"Um, heads!"

"Ack!" Flailing her arms for a second and almost losing her hat, Evangeline promptly ducked.

It was getting dark, and Alphonse... was out taking a walk. It was a pretty abnormal time to go out for a stroll, but it was either this or stay in the room so more, and he would much rather not be doing that any more than he had to. It seemed like a nice night to go out for a while, anyway.

Distracted by the architecture of one of the buildings, Evangeline wasn't looking as she turned a corner...and ran right into Alphonse, who was a lot bigger than she was, which is how she landed square on her little frilly-dressed bum.

"Hey!" she shouted, giving the poor damaged goods a little rub, still sitting on the sidewalk. "Watch where you're goin', you big hunk of..." She looked up, blinked, and amended her statement. "Metal!"

"A-ah--! I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you like that!" Alphonse apologized quickly, and offered a hand to help her up just as fast. "I really should be more careful, I didn't expect anyone to be out here..."

Evangeline considered the hand for a moment before promptly pushing herself up to her feet without his assistance. She made a very important point out of brushing off her skirt and readjusting her hat, making sure her cape was still billowing properly. She promptly thrust her chin in the air. "Well, someone is out here, and so, yes, you should be more careful, running into perfectly unassuming people when you're all..." She waved her hand a little. "Metal-y like that."

A disapproving, thoughtful frown on her face, she looked him over a little. The metal instantly had her thinking of Chachamaru, but...no. This wasn't exactly wires and computers and things, now was it?
