The Park: Thursday evening: By the turtles in the lake

Bella was laying on her stomach on the edge of the lake, her shoes were off and her robes were laying in a heap.

She was flicking grapes into the water and stretching her hand out to a tiny little turtle. "Come on, you can come live with me."

She flicked out a marshmallow. "I will make you a happy little home."

Buffy walked up behind Bella lying on the grass feeding turtles, she smiled. She had been about to say hello when she stopped, hearing Bella's cooing to the little turtle. Silently she dropped to the ground, listening to Bella, thinking that she was absolutely adorable.

Bella was totally enthralled with the turtle as she scooted forward on her stomach towards him. "I'm going to give you a box to sleep in. And carrots." She scooted forward again. "And I'll put jewels on your shell."

Buffy noticed that Bella was actually feeding the turtle marshmallows, and smiled to herself.

"You're so adorable, do you know that?" she said, finally breaking the silence.

"I thought I smelled cinnamon all of a sudden." Bella smiled glancing at Buffy with a slight blush on the tips of her ear. "I want this little fellow to come live with me." Bella said laying her hand out flat right next to the little turtle.
