Willow didn't especially want to be here. One little vampire attack and her parents freaked. Well, according to them, it was a gang on PCP. Whatever ( Read more... )

Lina raised a brow as she passed the other redhead. Well, from behind, anyway. "Problem?" she asked, arms propped behind her head.

Willow turned toward the other girl. "What? Oh no! I mean, nothing wrong with this dorm building or the school or...actually I haven't even seen the school yet...anyway, I'm new around here. You can probably tell, huh?"

Lina grinned. "You kinda do have the deer in the headlights look," she replied, "But it suits you." She approached, offering a gloved hand. "Lina Inverse."

"It suits me?" Willow blinked, shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm Willow."

She looked around. "Do you go to the school here?"

Sam was on his way out, but he stopped when he noticed the girl with bags who looked less than happy to be there.

"Hey, you must be new," he said. "I'm Sam."

"Hi Sam," Willow said, giving him a small smile. "My name's Willow. I'm new which you probably figured out."

"You don't look so happy about being here," Sam said.

"I'm sure it's a very lovely dorm and the school offers classes in the summer. So it can't be all bad," Willow replied. "Just miss my friends. And I had to leave my boyfriend."

She paused. "All because of some lousy vamp...er, PCP gang attack in the library. How was I supposed to know they would choose that exact moment...Anyway, my parents freaked and sent me here."

Oh look, a hulking great wolf-person thing is padding through the streets nearby.

The first person Willow thought of when she saw him was Oz. Her second thought was 'holy crap werewolf' and wishing she had a tranq gun. Then there was the boggling. "But there isn't a full moon...and..."

She looked around and said to no one in particular, "It's daytime."

The wolf-person actually had a limp, and it padded right up to Willow and stood up on it's two hind legs.

"Haven't seen any houses made of straw, have you?"

"You can talk?" Because a talking, limping werewolf type thing was a new one to her.

Willow stepped back outside after Sam helped her with her bags and stared. Huh.

As the sound got closer, the source came around the bend. The source was a man in his mid thirties with red hair and a close cropped goatee and mustache. He had a slightly glowy sword strapped to his hip, and was pantomiming riding a horse. Yes, pantomiming. Where was the clip clopping sound coming from you may ask?

From a three foot anthropomorphic black cat in a butler's outfit. He was banging two halves of coconut together.

The pair stopped when they came in sight of Willow. "Good afternoon." the man smiled. The moment they stopped, all semblance of horse riding like-wise ceased.

"Uh...hello," Willow said, giving a little wave. First a werewolf, now an anthropomorphic cat?
