Sometimes, a man could do his best thinking on a late night walk. It beat lying abed not sleeping, at any rate, and Bond liked the quiet solitude of the town after dark.

What he did not like was the appearance of anything potentially sinister. And he'd put a student dressed in her nightclothes walking with a group of strangers squarely into that category.

He picked up his pace and headed in their direction.

One of those on the outskirts of the group noticed him and moved fluidly up to touch the arm of the woman closest to Vanessa and whisper in her ear.

She turned and looked over her shoulder, staring directly at Bond.

For a spy, Bond really had very little aversion to being seen. Of course, he didn't quite operate like any of the other spies in M's fold either.

Flashing the woman a cocky grin, he stared right back. And continued to walk, hands casually in his pockets, toward the group.

The woman stopped walking, directing the rest of the group to take Vanessa along with them, and turned to face Bond fully. The look in her eyes was cool and assessing, though she had the hint of a smile playing along her face.

He was rather handsome for a human after all, and she wasn't above enjoying that.

The Master watched from the shadows of the TARDIS, playing with his laser screwdriver in his pocket, watching the parade through the Park.

How very... interesting.
