After closing the Divine Leaf for the night, Claire decided just to go back to her dorm and possibly hide until the chaos went away. She kept looking behind her to make sure nothing bad or evil was lurking. She knew nothing could really happen to her, but still. The town was just creepy tonight.

Hertz was pissed. Pissed and bleeding. He walked through the street and stopped when he saw Claire.

"Hey sugar dumpling," he said. "You lost on your way home?"

Claire turned to face the guy and shuddered a bit. He definitely seemed shady. "Um...no. I know where I'm going."

And she continued in the direction of the Carriage House hoping he wouldn't follow.

"Hey, bitch, hold up a second," Hertz said, pulling his gun. "I was talkin' to you."

Claire froze when she saw the gun. Even though she was pretty much invincible, she still preferred not to be shot. "Okay, you've got my attention."
