The Park: Wednesday Morning [1-30-08]

Jan 30, 2008 07:56

It was, well, not exactly warm, but at least sunny, which was a good enough excuse to have Lana out in the park. She'd picked up a small sketchbook and was giving it a try, wondering if she still had any ability in that area at all.

Lana glanced up from her sketchbook and smiled, then looked again. "Tori?"

"Wow, I don't believe it," Lana said. "Everyone from Fandom is showing up here."

She smiled at Tori. "At least all the ones I liked. How have you been?"

Abby had decided to go out after class and was walking through the park when she saw Lana. Interested in the sketchbook, she came over to say hello.

"What're you drawing?"

Lana looked up and did another double-take. "Wow. You look a lot like a teacher I used to have. Except much younger, of course. Um... I'm just sketching the trees and stuff."

"Definitely not a teacher." Abby laughed and shook her head. "I'm Abby and I just started school here."

"Are you any good? Can I see?"

"I used to be," Lana said. "Got accepted to art school in paris, but didn't get to go."

She hesitated, then offered the sketchbook to Abby. "I'm not sure how I am anymore." Actually, though, she was still very good.

Marie walked through the park while she was on patrol.

"Hey, Lana," she greeted her friend with an easy smile. "How are you?"
