Meg was on her back, laying on a gazebo bench and staring out over through the slats in the wood at the night sky. She didn't feel like being indoors despite the chill in the air. She simply wrapped herself up in a sweater and calmly, and quietly walked on out to the park, settling herself on her favorite bench to lay down.

Just out for a stroll.
Spying the young lady, Jack frowned a little worriedly but then easily replaced the expression with a lazy sort of smile as he walked over towards her.
"Pity that such a pretty lady is out alone."

"Come on, let's hit Der Waffle Haus and show each other off. It's not glamorous I know, but I know where it is and the food is pretty good."
And it's not sitting out here on a park bench alone at night with a fireball tossing lunatic running around.

Picking up a harmless bit of chatter about the weather and asking her about school, he began to lead her towards the restaurant.
