Der Waffle Haus, Sunday Evening

Sep 16, 2007 16:56

Waffles for dinner sounded like a good idea to Logan. Sure, the diner had other kinds of food, but he liked waffles. Besides, he'd slept so late that it was practically breakfast anyway.

[All kinds of open!]

Millie was sitting alone in a booth in the back, eating chocolate chip pancakes and reading a book.

"Hey," Logan said, stopping by Millie's booth. "How are you doing?"

Millie jumped and looked rather startled. "Oh, Logan. I... I'm well. And you?"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you!" Logan said. "I'm doing pretty well."

Pippi was kinda thinking about trying somebody else's pancakes for a change.

Oooh! This place smelled GOOD.

She sits down at a table by a window.

Near a coo-coo clock.

A... Der Waffle Haus...

Walter let the lights lure him inside. And there was a vaaaaguely familiar redhead.

"Good of you to save me a seat."

"This one looks to have my name on it." Walter slid in across from Pippi. "Since I'm not named Cassie, I don't think there will be much confusion."

Looking at class rosters had shown Walter that there were quite a few Cassies around.
