The park, Thursday evening

Apr 12, 2007 20:35

Ivanova lay on the grass in the park, arms folded behind her head as she watched the stars come out. Twinkling stars. Real growing grass. Fresh, unrecycled air. Old friends. No PsiCorps.

Heaven, I'm in heaven . . .

Doyle had decided that being there at his dorm when Xander discovered that he was the one that took the car would be a bad idea, so he took to the streets and finally the park.

He kind of stopped when he spotted Ivanova lying in the grass and couldn't help but smile. It was the little things that made things so much the better.

"How are they stars tonight?" He asked, keeping a good distance so not to startle her.

"Far, far away," she sighed happily, having heard him coming for a minute or two before he spoke.

"Aye, but their still pretty." Doyle looked up at them as well, smiling still. "Back in Los Angeles, couldn't see them 'cause of the bright lights." He looked back down at Ivanova.

"I'm Doyle. I'm a student, staying in the main house."

She turned her head to smile back. "Ivanova. Well, Susan, but I prefer Ivanova. I'm in the Carriage House."
