Beauty walked back to the dorm from her library shift with an excited bounce to her step. It was hard to believe she was getting this excited over doing something as girlish as dressing up and going shopping.
Her father and sisters would probably beam with pride if they knew. Ger would grin and say 'I told you so', and Melinda would probably start dropping less-than-cryptic hints about a trousseau.
So she was definitely not going to tell any of them about it.
Flopping down onto her bed, Beauty kicked off her shoes and waited for Meg to arrive.
