Connor had wandered into the sexuality section by accident actually. No really it was an accident. Stop looking at him like that. He was amazed there was such a section in the place anyway. The public library back home had just lumped those things in with other less explicit sections

"Would that be the Shutterrred Palace then?"

"Oh aye! That were the one."

Connor had been studiously ignoring the books trying to get his attention, but at the sound of wee tiny accented voices, he had to turn. And stare.

There's a moment and then a number of blue faces turn and stare back.

"... Offski!"

*zip!*

Pages rustle and dust flies.

Connor stood a moment, and continued to stare where they'd been. "Were wee tiny blue guys just ogling dirty pictures?"

Phedre bumped into Connor, while looking through some various books on sexual positions. "Oh, hello Connor."

"Hi." Connor smiled, even as he blushed at being caught in this section. One of the books that had been following him began rubbing against his leg.

"Stop that." he snapped at it, mortified.

Phedre giggled and bent, tickling the book. "There, there." She said to it. "See me later, I'll read you." Phedre whispered to it, as it trotted off.

She smiled at him. "I'm used to dealing with books like these. Well, people like them, but I imagine it's the same."

"Yeah, me not quite so much." he admitted still blushing. "So uh, how'd that favor work out for you?"

Sam was at the library, looking for a student directory that might have a photo of Thelma Bates. He had no idea why Dean wanted one, but he was a dutiful brother and, well, he liked the library.

Connor, carefully ignoring the small procession of books trailing along behind him like the rats of Hamlin, spotted Sam. "Hey Sam, how's it going?"

"Not bad, Connor," Sam replied, blinking at the books that were following Connor. He just couldn't get used to the idea of sentient books. "How's it going with you?"

"Pretty good. The books are mostly behaving themselves." One of them, a harlequin romance that had wandered away from it's proper section leaned almost demurely around his leg, as if it were trying to get a better look at Sam.

"Mostly." Connor grumbled."

The books she'd picked up at the Divine Leaf weren't quite enough. If she planned on holing up in her room again after the next full moon, she had to know about what options she had available at the library.

"Connor," she regarded him simply as she noticed him working there today. And then regarded his little literary groupies and arched an eyebrow.

"It's, not exactly how it looks." he said, blushing furiously. "They just kinda followed me." The Kama Sutra bounced by his ankle.

How nice that Evangeline could find a use for her shorter height for a change. Made it easier to lean in and get a better look at the titles. She stayed there as she looked up at Connor with a malicious grin. She read off some of the numbers on the side of the book. "Now that's interesting. What section might those have been before they decided to....relocate?"

He was turning a rather interesting shade of red just about now. "The uhm, human sexuality section." he answered truthfully, if quietly.
