Harry's Office Hours, 10-19-07

Oct 19, 2007 03:32

Harry was taking it easy this week, kicking back in his desk chair with his feet up on the cluttered desk, reading, with his teapot close at hand. He did, however, have the door open in case anyone was looking for him.

((Up early so I don't forget... will ping in to any replies when I get up.))

"Come on in," he called, scrounging around on his desk for something to use as a bookmark.

"Libri tres de occulta philosophia," he replied. "Uh... it's a philosophical look at magic. A bit old," he admitted. "How's it going?"

In light of everything that was going on at home, Marie figured it couldn't hurt to have some magical backup.

So she found her way to Harry's office and knocked on the open door. "Hey," she said. "Do you have a few minutes?"

Now there was someone he hadn't expected to see wandering into his office. "Sure thing. Tea?" He gestured at the teapot.

The office itself was a cluttered mess of magic supplies and books.

Marie smiled. "Sure, tea would be great," she said, entering the office and looking around. "Sorry to bother you, but that was some pretty impressive magic you displayed a couple weeks ago and it seems like there might be something weird afoot again."

He busied himself pouring her a cup. "Go ahead and take a seat." He gestured to the chair near his desk, which was the only other uncluttered horizontal surface in the room. "I didn't really do anything fancy, just trying to help out." He handed her the cup. "So what's going on?"
