I think Facebook may be killing my brain. And not because of the relentless Farmville spam, either, although I seem to have finally locked that down Cuban trade embargo style. People can feed their own damn chickens, it doesn't seem like the sort of activity that would require neighbors ( Read more... )

I totally know where you're coming from...I, too, have become lax with my LiveJournal blogging in favor of the shameless pic-whoring available on Facebook. Maybe I should make a resolution similar to yours (since my usual 'resolution' of losing weight is one that never actually gets off the ground).

Yay for well thought out comments! *clings* One of the main reasons I'm trying to work my way back here. Getting a thought heard on the internet is as random as a lottery drawing, a fitting metaphor, and it applies to everything from tweets to FB statuses to YouTube videos. At least with a blog, if you have an audience, they are there because they really want to hear what you have to say. Which cannot be said for most of the "friends" people seem to keep on FB, where the number becomes a vanity issue with a certain crowd, causing them to take in people they've never really had anything to do with in real life ( ... )

I feel the same way! and it's a damn shame that I have yet to shake your hand, dear friend, considering that I was actually a GA resident for a whole year! If you ever find yourself rolling through Raleigh... then you better post it on my Wall! haha
