This summer I've been taking an American Moderns: 1900-1945 online class through SCAD.  I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would, having discovered the amazing Dorothy Parker through our readings

All the frivolity and false manners of earlier time periods makes me laugh.

Though, I can say that people seemed a little bit more well-behaved because of the strict courting rules (for the most part). I would also love getting formal letters :D lol I love letters.

Have you read Tender is the Night by Fitzgerald? Pretty interesting.
