Hey folks! It's the first time I'm posting here but I always lurk! This is my favorite place whenever I want to look for some J/A goodness and news, you are doing a wonderful jobs with all the updates as I'm always out of the loop due to busy life (damn!) So thank you! That clip is FUCKING AWESOME! I LOVE IT! I have to say I was bit worried from the TV Guide description (you know...annie view on Jeff/britta and the fact that j/b kind of team up for that test) but watching this put me in agreat mood again! (Still...I'll never trsut dan harmon, so...) Let me say how SYBOLIC the whole thing is! - Annie being the goodness and passing this goodness to Jeff - Jeff wanting to bite her (taint her) but he's not able to because she's so "perfect" in his eyes - Jeff using Britta to feed himself - Annie being kinda upset - Jeff dropping Britta to ask her to stay (and teach him to read XD)

Sorry, don't mind me! I'm just going on hiding again
haha i agree with whatever you said..and i thought it was cute that Jeff asked her to stay (although dropping Britta like that was horrible) it speaks loads about how Annie views Jeff/Britta and Jeff and herself
I'd say it also outlines Annie's view that Jeff and Britta's 'arrangement' in season 2 was purely of convenience, and more than a little unhealthy for both of them. Jeff was using her, she was "fine with this", and it was preventing them both from growing past what they were as individuals.
As to a relationship with Jeff, it perhaps depends on how this scene ends. Does she teach him to read, thus signifying that Jeff can and will grow, and Annie can help with it? Does he end up biting her, using her in the same way he used Britta? Or will Troy and/or Abed burst in to save her from the Jeff monster?
This is going to cause those not shipping Jeff and Annie to climb aboard. That summed up so much of the situation between the three of them that whoever wrote the Britta line "I'm fine with this" has got to be a freaking genius. Poor Britta the therapist might not even recognize the subtext in Annie's story. Amazing!

- a school teacher, on whom a lot of innocent children depend on
- believes there is good in every man
- wants (?) to teach Jeff how to read
Jeff:
- is Annie's savior
- is tempted by her but denies her because he wants to preserve her "innocence"
- treats Britta horribly
Britta:
- is okay with above point
- doesn't want to be judged for it
So what does this all mean about pursuing a relationship with Jeff?

"Teach me to read?"
Oh good lord, this episode is going to kill me.
I'm curious about what the reaction from the group is going to be after Annie finishes her story. You think they'll see the transparency, too?
