Oh lawdy! I just watched this one too. I agree, Jeff is being an ass, but I can't help but love him! :3 and of course, Annie has to be all cute and stuff.

I can't wait for the 23rd.

Is anyone else loving the colors of the outfits and paint?

He is too lovable . . . tho maybe I'm finding his jerky behavior as cute as Annie's because i expect him to change his mind XD

I don't think Jeff is being too mean, just that he's acting a lot more awkward than Annie over their kiss. I love the way he pushed her hand away when she does the hair thing. Hee!

I immediately searched on youtube for "Community 2.01 preview clip* after watching this one and blew my way through all of them, despite not wanting to be spoiled. :D

And there were some small J/A tidbits on clip 1,4 and 6, if anyone wants those but doesn't want to watch all of them. clip 2 explains stuff about Britta. I know it doesn't 'mean' anything, but I'm feeling all fuzzy over "Oh, we chose it together." :D

Oh I don't think Jeff's being mean, I just think he's just being the Jeff (as there are many facets of his personality, one is probably reserved for his hair) which always leads to apologies later . . .

I've seen two good reviews come out today about the premiere. One from Alan Sepinwall and another from Variety.

I've been dying to tweet Alan and ask about the characterization of Annie, which is what worries me the most. It's rare for me to disagree with Alan (probably 1 out of 100 reviews) and I think I had that 1 last week with Terriers so I'm hoping my thoughts align with his over this episode.

Yes, there's an interview at HitFix (and I think Alan links several other interviews with the cast/crew of the show as well in the post) with the regular directors of Community, and it's interesting that the directors (who also were on Arrested Development) were the ones who picked up on the chemistry between Jeff and Annie and alerted Harmon to 'exploit' that. :D Needless to say, I LOVE them.
