Anyone want to discuss? I Loved watching this- so much nostalgia <3 one part i found interesting was the part where they confess stuff about each other- in the actual episode Shirley says Annie calls Jeff uncle... I remember a lot of us were outraged. The original script apparently said Annie had a secret copy of Jeff's apartment keys? Hmmm...

I LOVED the table read and following Q&A. it made me very nostalgic.
The cast had a great energy and chemistry. They fell right back into their roles. And whilst i don't particularly like the episode they picked, it had its great moments.

i'm glad the show is getting attention once again, thanks to Netflix and all the interviews popping up.
I still hold hope for the movie!

about Shirley's comment about Annie, either version sounds kind of weird to me anyway lol
I always interpreted the Uncle line as a way to address how uncomfortable Annie (and Jeff) is with the ambiguity of their relationship. I was never bothered by it.
Annie secretly having a copy of Jeff's house keys sounds creepy to me, makes her sounds like a stalker (at least without a good explanation).

I loved the whole thing so much. It really felt like a bunch of friends hanging out and it was so fun!!!

I think the uncle thing makes no sense. The key made me think two things. 1) It's actually a spare that Jeff gave her and Shirley discovered so Annie made an excuse. or 2) Jeff drunk texts/calls her enough to make her rationalize copying his key so that she can get in and take care of him. Or shes a creepy stalker.

I just take it as canon now that Annie had a secret key to Jeff's apartment. I imagine that he gave it to her as a way to show her how much he cares about her without having to say it in words, and to show her how much he trusts her. She is probably his emergency contact now also....
