I didn't want to step on the toes of people who want to watch Community alumni on Thursday nights, so I figure a Friday posting might be the better bet

Yeaaaah, I seemed to remember that FF&Y was moved because they wanted to place that closer to Debate 109 (per the commentary) to really slam home the J/A chemistry.
Really? I can't recall that... I seem to remember it was because when they were editing FF&Y they realized that the J/A argument had no resolution so they decided to shoot the M/M scene later. But that kept the episode from being aired in its original spot. It at least fixes up a few small continuity errors like the Human Being and Luis Guzman Statue reveals, plus it makes the J/B thing flow more naturally, because in 104 Jeff states he just wants to be friends with Britta but in 106 he's still clearly hitting on her.
Also, the 117-118 switch makes the Leonard - Family Day joke actually make sense. And Jeff clearly is trying to get the girl's attention while playing pool (she ends up wanting to be introduced to Abed/Brown Joey) but that needs to take place after 118 otherwise he'd still be with Slater. And Jeff is not a cheater...
I knew there was a switch that fixed the Guzman statue and Human Being continuity errors. Couldn't recall what it was but I guess this is it.... Thanks for posting!
This isn't the thread where we are supposed to post comments on the rewatch, is it? I was under the impression there would be a separate thread. I watched the first two eps yesterday and I'm raring to start commenting!
