So, Jeff and Annie are up against TVD's Damon and Elena.

Can I get a, "Yikes!"

TVD's fanbase does not play around. TVD has three couples still in the tournament, and it does not look like any vote splitting is going on ( Read more... )

We'll J/A are down something like 56% to 43%..... I think I'm out. I'm not insane enough to think that our ship has any chance whatsoever. We could be down thousands of votes at this point. I guess nothing is impossible but I don't have time to sit around mindlessly voting.....but more power to anyone who does. Not trying to be a neg-head, just realistic.

If you read around, going up against Delena was basically a case of battling a tidal wave with a bucket. You're just not going to win that battle. The fanbase for the pairing is fairly young, and really haven't graduated beyond the CW yet in viewing regular TV.

Plus their dedicated as all hell.

I'm afraid that most Community fans have jobs and other obligations at this point, so it's not a case willingness, its a case of fandom size and hours in a day.

Yeah I saw a lot of the comments here. I know nothing about TVD fandom, but I hear tell they're obsessive. Well I guess we fought the good fight....

Yeah I sorta figured that during the day they would beat us, I would have voted on my phone but the EW website doesn't work on my Iphone? Hey, this poll didn't affect us in 2011 and it won't change anything now. Sure, it would have been nice to win, but meh, our show is tiny and its pretty cool that were where leading for almost a whole day. I'll still vote a little tho, just in case haha.
Now I just have to worry about if we are gonna get any new j/a stuff for season six in the next two weeks.

Heh, Bobrow is tweeting about J/A losing in the E poll. Pretty funny..... Incidentally, speaking of Bobrow, did anybody catch Last Man On Earth? Damn funny show, although it will be interesting to see how long the conceit holds.....

I watched "Last Man on Earth" and really enjoyed it, so I'll keep watching it for now. Like you said, though, it's going to be interesting to see if or how long the concept holds. I hope it does, but they may have to add more people.

Actually, we tweeted at him to boost it for us to get the other Twitter fans going, and then I posted it again to Reddit and we've been making strides this morning again and Greg Cromer (Rich) responded too.

We're up 44.1 now, so if you have time to vote, vote like hell, because the Stelena fans are helping us and Gistobe on Twitter has allied with the Park and Rec fandom.
