That's two people who've seen the ep in advance and teased....something with JA. So that means we are getting a moment of some kind.
Now the question is whether its worth everything we've been through - this year and in others -- or whether it's thrown together as another bone out of nowhere, a la JB last week, or is merely another regular bone like the majority of JA scenes since the first finale. We can't say we'll have egg on our faces [our screaming in one way or another faces] 48 hours from now quite yet.
Well, last season we had a great episode for Jeff/Annie (Conventions) and then were told by one of the showrunners that it was a mistake and we were interpreting the episode and especially a scene at the end wrong.
I'd like more reassurance than "don't tune out yet!" That feels less like a "something good is happening!" than a "It's not as bad as you think!" And the one season that ended on a high note for Jeff/Annie, season 1, was followed up with the rather painful season 2 opener.
It seems like Annie is acting a bit more childish these last few episodes, not just competitive like she usually is. And it feels like Abed is the cause of that. Troy was the more childish one on the Troy/Abed dynamic, and he is gone, so it feels like they are changing Annie to make her interactions with Abed more like TroyandAbed.
I was just thinking maybe Jeff and Annie will have a heart to heart after Jeff tells her about what he and Britta were going to do. That would be nice.
