FYI...

The DVD sets of Community seasons 1-4 are currently on sale on Amazon.

Season 1 is $9.99
Season 2 is $8.99
Season 3 is $7.99
Season 4 is $7.99

Never seen them this low before... convinced me to finally bite the bullet and add season 4 to my collection. I wasn't gonna pay full price for a half season!

Mod note: This is, sadly, not the case for Canadians. It's still listed as $30.99 on Amazon.ca. But Amazon.co.uk also seems to have lower prices, including for the S1-S4 boxset (£38.50).

Yeah, it's a Black Friday type of deal, which I think is probably only something Americans do.

Oh, no, that shizz has spread to Canada! It's retailers' way of saying "please don't cross the border and do your holiday spending in another country, pleeeeeeeeease!" The sales are just limited and not as inclusive and widespread as in the U.S.

But sadly, Community is not on sale (none of the seasons) in Canada. S4 is $30.99 which is roughly equivalent to highway robbery - it's cheaper (just a smidge, really, like, by a dollar) in the UK even. Those US prices are fantastically low!

Oh, wow, people are actually crossing the border for Black Friday sales? That's crazy. I don't really do BF except maybe buy some DVDs online.

Great deals for people who don't have the DVDs yet.

I wasn't sure if I should even buy the 4th season, but I went ahead and got it yesterday at Target for $8 too. I've been lucky to get all the seasons pretty cheap. I remember when S1 came out I got for like $15 at Amazon and I got S3 for like $10.

ETA: I should mention that I only got it for $8 at Target because like the Amazon prices, it was a Black Friday sale.

Ohohoh! I am SO there. I need seasons 3 and 4 and, like you, I wasn't about to pay full price for half a season. However, if this season is as awesome as it very well could be, THEN I'd pay it.

I waited too long and I missed it. I thought I'd try Target, as someone up-line mentioned, but that was a no-go. Then, when I got home, I forgot to go online and get them from Amazon.com. Now the price is doubled. Meh. I'll find them somewhere someway.

Aw, man! Bummer. Maybe if you add it to your Amazon wish list you can keep track of the price and jump on it next time you find it at a lower price.

Oh hell. I just got Season 4 for 12.49 right before Thanksgiving. Shoulda waited a bit longer.

Better than retail though. Target had them all on sale for about normal price.

And paying anything over 15.00 for S4 is a travesty.
