Because he has no sense of adventure. There's subtext like it's going out of fashion but no sense of adventure. If Anakin and Obi-Wan weren't meant to be lovers I'll eat a damn TIE fighter. An Imperial one at that so it therefore makes perfect sense that War would flirt outrageously with Vadeybabe.

See now he could have added Death and Armageddon to the films. Not like both weren't present anyway
