*clings to Lavi and Kanda* Ohhh man, the poor boys! Lavi slipped back right away once Kanda confronted him, too.

Can't wait to see what happens next. I'm sure they're not going to be able to avoid each other. ^_~

Lavi spent two and a half years as Lavi, during a VERY formative period of his life, while fighting out on the front lines with the other Exorcists. No, he's not going to be able to let go of his Lavi persona easily.

But has he been "Trey" for the past two years, or was there another record (or more) in between?

And no, I wouldn't expect that he could... we've even seen that in the manga, he's getting too close to everyone in the Order, closer than he should as a Bookman. If I remember right, this record with the Exorcists was the longest he'd been with any one group, too.

*nods* I mean, he was sixteen when he came to the Order, and Lavi was his 49th alias. 48 different records in 16 years - presumable only about 10 or 12 years, since he wouldn't have been able to do much as a toddler. He couldn't have stayed anywhere very long.

I'm still trying to decide if I want the significance of this being his 50th record, or if it would be better to say he'd already been several other people between Trey and Lavi.

Wahhh! I'm completely hooked and drooling in anticipation of the next chapter. The confrontation was perfect. Kanda admitting his feelings to himself at the end was beautiful. I can't wait to see where you take this!

God, this is really SAD. And the change in Lavi is almost heartbreaking.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter! I hope it's possible to get it out as quickly as you got this one out. ^-^
