(“hitodama”, the boy-child answered the curious girl, asking of ghosts and gods. small feet treading on water surface, unmindful of the shallow waves breaking the shore. it was another of those calm afternoons where he taught her bits and pieces of a culture long gone, perished in a single night five centuries ago. he familiarizes her to a dead language, and starts by introducing his family “hahaue,” he points to the pink glowing ball on her right. “chichiue” then to the one near his cheek…)

and yes, those pyreflies will make your heartbreak. this was what i chose as one of sasusaku themes.i am so sorry, because this ff-naruto verse has been invading my mind for a long, long time.

Speaking of pyreflies, did you read that theory about the lifestream=pyreflies? Something about FFX being the sequel of FFVII or sth.
If Naru/Hina is Zidane/Garnet, then Sasu/Saku is Steiner/Beatrice in a sort of Asian way? And don't think that I didn't see that Versus XIII trailer reference in Sasuke-kun's appearance! :DDDD
P.S, and I agree with your choice of music.

yeah! the theory is ten is the prequel to 7 , as spira is the mother planet, with shinra (in X-2) still finding a way to harness the farplane (where the sent pyreflies goes, the afterlife) for energy. accdg to the creators, shinra ancestors did find a way...and consequently traveled to another planet because they were sucking the spira's lifestream dry.
:D the steiner/beatrice....are actually neji/tenten. *laughs* sasu/saku are more the mix of celes/angsty!locke. XD and dasdsajk, you did see the sasuke-noctis reference. also, sakura worships a certain goddess of death, and implied descendant of a warrior goddess...
