When I was low
And giving up hope
I was tired of the fight
And felt so alone
When the blinding light engulfed
My dark haven of security
And scorched my heart and soul
You walked in and saved me
You cooled the intense heat
And restored self esteem
I thought I lost forever
My strength to fight the losing battle
