because shit gets routine and they can't romance their lover anymore ... and they don't have the guts to make it work with the one they're with, so they try to find this so called interesting life on the outside.
Why can't we talk about what the fuck is destroying the relationship ... why are we so scared?

somebody suggested that we should talk about why it's considered wrong to cheat vs. why people cheat.

people tend to be scared of what's close to them. women especially have a hard time letting go.

because women are psychotic. so if you cheat on one, then you'll have two psychotic women at once, and then they cancel each other out, so you're left in a sorta-kinda sane relationship.

I agree w/ you. Men like him are just trying to make cheating more socially acceptable to them, it's like a giant fraternity that girls can't get into.

His entries do sound a little too much like excuses. That said, I don't think he's particularly far off base with any of his "reasons." I think he misses another big one, though, or at least understates it with his last, terrible iPod analogy: sexual conquest is a power trip, an ego boost, and an adrenaline rush for most guys, and it's something that's hard to replace in a stable, committed relationship. It's something all guys need to learn to get over, but it takes some people a while to get there ( ... )
