Summary: Jin and Kame had a relationship that could last forever…tragedy struck and they were separated. Jin had an accident and woke up in heaven. Although it was a paradise, he wasn’t happy because his lover was sent to hell…can a man break the boundaries of heaven and hell or will they be separated forever?
Warnings: Shounen-ai. This is my first multi-chap. Hmm…OFFICIAL Character DEATH …BAKA!JIN! well….kind of…XD CHEESY AND CLICHÉ ENDING!
A/N:The is based on a movie/novel with the same title. This will be my first ever multi-chap so if you find the story or anything that’s bad…please bear with me…I’m still new at writing fics…hmm…this…is…a failure again…some quotes are taken from the movie what dreams may come…It took awhile for me to write this cause I…ran out of ideas…sorry but it’s hard to write…XD

Outside the Akanishi Residence…
Sounds of sirens woke up the whole neighborhood, some of them gathered around to see what was going on. What they saw shocked them. They saw Kame on a stretcher pale-skinned and bloodied.
Hospital…
They were in the E.R for hours and Kame’s friends were outside. Anxiousness filled the whole place to the point that it was suffocating them…
“Do you think he’ll be fine?” Maru said. He was being comforted by his lover, Koki, who is also Kame’s bestfriend.
“He better be…I can’t bear to lose another friend.” Ueda said then he punched the wall.
“Hime, relax, let’s all think positive.” Ryo, Ueda’s lover, said trying to comfort his friends. It’ was odd that he was the one comforting them since he’s usually the one who over-reacts but it’s feels like everyone already lost hope so he felt the need to be strong for them.
After an hour and a half, the doctor came out of the E.R. Nervousness, anxiety and a tinge of hope filled their chests that it made their hearts leap out of their cages.
“Are you one of Kamenashi-san’s relatives?” The doctor asked Ueda but he shook his head. The doctor looked at them but received the same answer.
“We’re Kamenashi-san’s friends.” Ryo said calmly.
“I think it’s best if I speak to one of the patients relatives but seeing that none of them are present, I might as well tell you.” The doctor pauses.
“Kamenashi-san, lost a large amount of blood.” Another pause. It’s aggravating the anxiety.
“I’m afraid…he lost his battle. I’m very sorry for you lost.” With that said the doctor bowed to them and went on his way. Everybody broke down in tears. The tears that are brimming on Ryo’s eyes started to fall without any intentions of stopping.
When Kame’s family came, more tears fell. This is so far the most painful day for their family.
Kame’s burial…
His ashes were scattered on the sea just like what they did to Jin’s in hopes that they would find each other again. Again, tears fell. They were all tired of crying but the sorrows in their hearts are far from being drained.
Heaven…
Jin was walking outside his ‘realm’ but all he could see was an endless corridor of doors so he decided to explore. He opened one of the doors closest to him. He was surprised when he stepped on to a fluffy path. It was a pink cloud…? He took a small amount and tasted it.
‘Cotton Candy?’
“Where am I?”
“Children’s section.”
“eh?”
“uhh..yeah…look around you…”
And he did. What he saw astounded him. There were flowers that look like marsh mallows. Choco bunnies on the grass.
‘Thank god! They’re not alive!’
The land that he’s standing on is made out of cotton candy. Then he walked on the grass. He plucked one, he tasted it and once again he was shocked.
“This taste like mint!”
“Yeap! Everything here is edible.”
“HONTOU?!”
“YES! Would you like me to show you around?”
“OH! YES! PLEASE! But wait…you look familiar…”
“I do?”
“Yeah…” Jin rubs his chin and looks at nowhere in particular as if thinking about something.
“Hint please?”
“Hospital.”
Again, Jin rubs his chin and uses all his will power to remember the woman in front of him. The stranger has long black wavy hair, she’s quiet chubby, she has brown narrow eyes (like Chinese’s eyes), normal nose and tanned skin. No matter how much he tried, it seems he doesn’t remember where he met her until…
“AH! HANA’S Pediatrician!”
“Mikhaella Bacsafra Rivera at your service Akanishi-san. Hisashiburi-desu! Now, how about that trip?”
“OKAY!”
He saw a chocolate fountain. He drank from it. It had a sweet and warm feeling in his mouth. He remembers how hana loves chocolate. She says it has a certain taste and feel to it when it’s in your mouth. He smiles at the memory. He saw a raft. It’s made entirely out of Pocky honey and milk flavored sticks. Then at the side of the river there were bushes that bore little spaceships with the strawberry tip and chocolate base.
“Sugee! Ne…Rivera-san, can ride on that?” He pointed at the pocky stick raft.
“Un!”
And so they did, as they were riding on the raft, Jin heard children’s laughter and saw a lot of kids playing and he’s wondering where Hana could be since Hiromi was with him as Pi. But all thought left him as he saw multi-colored rose bush and he was curious about what flavor each rose might be.
“Ne, can we go there?”
“Okay.”
When they got to the chocolate road, Jin ran to the rose bush. The red rose is strawberry flavored, the blue rose is blueberry, the yellow is lemon flavored, the pink rose was peach flavored and the white one is snowberry. He remembers how the twins love fruits. They would often push him out of the house just to buy strawberries or whatever they felt like eating at the moment. He laughed at the memory.
“What’s funny?”
“Nothing…I just remembered something.”
Mikha just smiled.
Then Jin saw a bunch of kids playing soccer with a gold ball.
“suge! It’s gold? Maji de?”
“Yeap! They use that cause gold it soft when it’s pure and they just add something inside to add weight and stability for it to take enough force and not break when someone kicks it.
“Suge!”
“Ne, nii-chan, wanna join us?”
“Sure! I’ll teach you a few tricks too if you want.”
“Yes please!”
And so they played and Jin thought them some of the tricks he knows.
“Here’s a move that’s called Adriano. It’s fairly simple soccer trick that's used to evade an opponent. When your opponent makes an attempt to steal the ball from you, do this.” He put the sole of his dominant leg on the ball.
“And then, do this.” He pulls the ball back and while he’s doing that, he jumps a little forward with his standing leg.
“Then, push the ball like this.” He pushes the ball forward with the inside of his dominant foot. The ball went past the opposite side of his standing leg than it came from.
“Got it?”
“HAI!” the boys chorused.
“This one is called the scissor. Use this when you’re in front of your opponent.” Then he demonstrates and explains it. He dribbles the ball but he puts one foot next to the ball that kept the ball inside his foot. Then he circles his other foot around the ball, from the inside to the outside and all around to get the ball to the inside again.
“Wow! Nii-chan! You’re really good at this! Can you show us one trick? The hardest you know?” One of the boys said.
“Uh...Well…err...”
“Please?” The boys chorused while using they’re puppy eyes. Jin, not one to resist, said…
“Okay…but I still haven’t mastered this…”
“Daijoubu nii-chan!”
“I’ll do the around the moon.”
He puts the ball on his neck. He throws the ball straight up and the ball reaches above his head. As the ball comes, he bends his hips but he keeps his chin and elbows up and back straight. Then, right before touches his neck; he bends a little through his knees. Then, he moves his upper body to the right and up, he gets into a straight position. His forehead was now behind the ball. As the ball starts to drop again, he bends his knees and catches the ball by doing the first things he did.
“wow! Sugoi! Nii-chan, can you do another one please?”
Jin was really tired but he doesn’t want to disappoint the boys. But luckily, before he says yes, Mikha interfered.
“Nii-chan is already tired. Maybe some other time.” She smiled sweetly at them and Jin mouthed his thanks to her.
“aww…okay, rest well nii-chan!”
She leads Jin to a hill and from there he can see a big chess board. Suddenly, he felt tears run down his cheeks. Everything seems nostalgic to him.
“Is there something wrong?”
“Nothing, I just remember one of my princesses.”
“Which one?”
“Hana…”
*FLASHBACK*
Hana looked at the cardboard cutout of heaven.
“Is this where we go when we die?”
“It's a dream baby, it's a beautiful one, but you know dreams...”
“I know, aren't real. I know.”
Then, Jin glances at his watch.
“It's after midnight.”
“I haven't won yet.”
“It's your first time.”
“No, I like that I haven't won yet. Means you're not cheating. And when I win, I win. I just want to play 'til I do. Unless you want to stop.”
“No. Let's play 'til you win.”
*END OF FLASHBACK*
“She died three months later. We played every night. Meant the world to me, but she never won.” By now, Jin can’t stop his tears from falling, one painful tear followed by another.
Jin stayed there for a quite a long time. He thinks it’s a better place for him to think than in his realm where’s he’s all alone. It’s easier to keep his sanity here. He was brought out of his reverie when someone tapped his shoulder.
“Rivera-san…”
“Where were you just now? Your mind’s been wandering all afternoon.”
“Thinking of someone.”
“Your husband must’ve loved your children very much.”
“But you don’t have to break in half to love someone.”
“What are you planning to do now?”
“Frankly…I don’t know.”
“He went to hell you know. He just died.”
“I know.”
Silence.
“You know you could have saved him then right? When he was still there at the house, you had a lot of time. You know that right? Hiromi told you.”
“Yeah. She begged me to save him but I ran away.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know.”
Silence.
“Hana…”
“Yes, dad?”
“Is there a possibility that I can still save your daddy Kazu?”
“There is.”
“Tell me.”
“It’s risky.”
“I don’t care.”
“But dad! You’re risking an eternity in hell if you do this!”
“Do I look like I give a fuck about risking everything I have here?!”
“Dad…”
“Tell me.” Jin said in a firm tone.
“You have to go to hell and find her. But I won’t allow you to do this Dad!”
“If I was going through fucking HELL, I'd only want one person in the whole goddamn world by my side!”
Hana was stunned. She looked away and said.
“I guess…I have no choice then…Go to the black river. There you will find a dock and a boat. Set course to the forbidden lair. That’s where you’ll find the Tracker; he’ll lead you on your journey through hell. But dad, I must warn you, once you find daddy…leave! Or else you’ll be trapped there and there’s no way you can get out of there.”
Jin turned his back to Hana to take his leave but Hanas stopped him.
“Be careful Dad.”
“I will.”
Then, jin left to save Kame. It might’ve taken him a while to decide but it’s never too late, this time he’s certain he’s gonna save him, his Kazu.
“Wait for me, love” He whispered. Then he walked out the door towards the dangerous path he chose.

A/N: IT SUCKS! I KNOW!*facepalm*! I can’t believe I wrote a cheesy ending to this! Anyways…this is the longest chapter I’ve ever written so far and I think I’m gonna end this soon to save you guys from the cheesiness. Hontou ni gomen! The multi-chap didn’t go as I planned it to be…but I like the way I wrote this chapter except the ending…and another sorry for a late post, since I’m usually fast at updating…XC this is the hardest fic to write for me…so far…especially this chapter since I really can’t picture the children’s section in heaven and how mikha/hana and jin will talk. I was actually planning to make hana/mikha convince jin to save kame…but I remembered that hana is the gentle, sweet and caring one of the twins…so yeah…I made her stop him instead…hope you like this! Oh! Yeah…Mikhaella Bacsafra Rivera is me! Yeah…I couldn’t think of anyone else… (=w=)9
