We've been in our new house for two weeks now, and during the first one I managed to read three books, although the second week I slowed down to just one. I'm not sure if it was because there were more awesome things going on last week or because most of the books didn't impress me, but hopefully I can catch up and do say, two a week.

I think hot water music is my favourite book of short stories...i have "The Captain is out to lunch and The sailors have taken over the ship" which is illustrated by robert crumb. it's mostly endearing (suprisingly) because it was written 1994, i think, and appears more introspective.

i have two such illlustrated works from the same period. kind of full 8.5x11 deals.

really? the book is 5x7-ish.
i wonder which drawings they are...i really like the image of his face on the back of the book which is just really detailed, with his gaze looking downward.
the illustrations were created after he died, i think.
