First off, I'd like to say that if you cannot locate the glowing green power button on the front of a Dell PC, you should be barred from any sort of employment that might require you to come within 10 feet of any PC. Same for those who cannot remember their password from one week to the next (seriously, we have folks that call in weekly to get ( Read more... )

1. AUGH! I agree, and I have the added issue in that I haven't done whole weekends of walking/standing since I was doing weekend-long paintball games all over the country in conditions that make Scarby look like the walk in the park that it really is.

2. Yeah. They rocketh the socketh.

3. "Monkey-Boy Tag" is amusing because it beats the alternative... "Monkey-Boy Mortal Kombat"

4. Always good to have help.

5. Whoa. Ummm... Wow. Much luck and widsom on whatever choice you make. :o) Just... whoa.

6. Yeah... Pub Sings are keen.

7. Air Force Loadmaster in a previous life? :o)

May have to try the "Mortal Kombat" option at some point. Would be muchly amusing.

And no, just a roadie for a cowboy band. Bass, 3 guitars, sound board, mandolin, 5 people, 6 mic stands, 2 main speakers, and 3 wedge monitors all fit in my parent's van. Tight fit, but we did it. The knowledge has served me in good stead, apparently.

Yep... that'll do it. I'm just remembering my godfather, who was indeed a loadmaster, managing to properly utilize every gubic-inch of whatever he was packing. It was to the level of OCD sometimes. :o)

And back to the comment of idiot users... I refer you to this:

Matt's Adventures with the Chronically Stupid.

I can already feel my muscles beginning a protest at the thought of all the dancing i'll end up doing (hopefully) this weekend. Do you even know how long its been since I danced??? lol.. I won't be waltzing (mainly because I suck at it), but I want to make it to every dance I can.
See you this weekend!

thanks for letting the boy handle the bass....sunday? court danceish time?

i came home to bass sounds today and he hasn't picked it up since before workshops.

maybe it got him to remember that bright red thing was sitting in his room next to the monster head/cabinet.

it was so much nicer hearing the bass than significant other's guitar ramblings and drum pads. hehe.
