I think they could get a lot of mileage from good software. I own a tablet computer and other than its slight portability increase over my laptop (something that I don't think is really as true compared to modern ultralights) it's really only good for things that truly benefit from the pen interface, otherwise it's just so much faster to use a mouse and keyboard ( ... )

those are some cool ideas. i especially like sensing body heat and rhythms, EEG. i've read that people respond well to a computer personal trainer making motivational statements, and i'd like more prodding to get some sleep.
