Well said, Michael, well said. I, too, seem to write better when I'm writing more, which is why this offering and all others in the foreseeable future will unapologetically suck. Also, my 'm' key is dying, and only responds about half the time, which explains many errors of the recent past and future. Deal with it ( Read more... )

Grasshopper, I offer my services. That said, I'll remind you of how old and slow my computer is. This may not work terribly well. Also, I think that you're probably smarter than the computer, tactics-wise, so some of my normal strategies may not apply.

We never saw King Kong and, despite your panning, I still want to see it. Then again, I love Donnie Darko. I'm curious, have you ever seen the original? I'm not sure if that would help or hurt or have no effect as you watch the new one, but I'm curious.

The Pink Panther was delayed because it was allegedly horrible and the studio did not want to fill up screens during the summer (when huge, money-making blockbusters come out and people (read teenagers) are able to go to them). What level of difficulty do you normally play at? Just curious. I would think that the slowness of your computer would impact gameplay, if it were going to at all, all the time, even in single player; it seems to be quite the memory hog (even Kristine's not-two-years-old computer can't handle it very well). And you have a DSL or cable connection, right? If so, I bet the multiplayer will work. But really, I have no idea. In any event, we should try it sometime during the day on Saturday if you're available, when we should both really be working.

No, I haven't seen the original, but I don't think it could possibly suck for the same reasons that this one sucked (namely: a) Jack Black and b) Peter Jackson showing off his parade of weird, stupid, oversized CGI animals). I'll probably give it a shot sometime, just to see all the places that Jackson got it terribly wrong.

You get to punch anyone in the jaw who says "Merry Christmas" to you before Thanksgiving. That's my final offer.
