<3333 This is adorable. I really love the voices you gave Tina and Mike; they seem so spot on.

Aw, shucks. Thanks for your compliments! I tried hard to maintain what I thought was going on in Mike and Tina's heads throughout the entire season, which could be a little inconsistent and difficult at times.

Ah, Tina's feelings for Artie realistically portrayed as gradually fading to the point where Mike is indisputably the man for her. Nice touch. Point 18 was especially insightful. I honestly didn't think Tina could feel that way, since blue contacts was at one time somewhat fashionable in Singapore (scary, that fad). Point 19 is a huge laugh! And, uh ok, so I also got to learn two brands that Justin bieber apparently wears. Ouch.

It's always been my opinion that the Tina/Mike pairing was only meant to be a fling, but that the writers were pleasantly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive fan reaction. Duets was a test run in which they gave Tina and Mike a storyline and a duet. After seeing how well the fandom responded to Asian Fusion, the writers promptly changed their minds and the rest is history. Nevertheless, I think it'd be unrealistic to expect Tina to no longer have any feelings for Artie entirely during Season 2, because even if she was treated poorly and did the dumping, emotions are not meant to be reasonable, much less scrutinized or rationalized. ;) I think there were a few signs in S2 pointing to the fact that she still had feelings for him, but that they eventually faded away and Mike became her one and only ( ... )

15 and 19 are my favourites :D They made me laugh and yay and giggle.

Loved the whole part about the 'blue eyes/Night of Neglect' connection. Poor Tina, and Mike having to watch the whole thing unwind is one of the things that makes me saddest (and also love to read about). Because I think it would kill Mike that Tina feels so bad - I love that kiss in Unpretty - because he loves her. LOVES HER.

Sorry, rambling. Long day. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed it!

Thanks for the comment! I tried to mix in the cute with the funny and the sad and balance it just enough, so I'm glad that you found most of the little vignettes/drabbles entertaining.

I Feel Pretty/Unpretty was already one of my favorite S2 performances, but the little Tike cheek kiss there easily pushed it No. 1 in terms of vocal performance, timbre, emotional resonance, and plot relevance.
