Hee. I've started reading your reviews of HPB from metaquotes and I find them hysterical. Just someone's point of view of the sixth book who knows absolutely nothing about the previous books, is very funny. And you apparently like the same stuff I do. I'd love it if a robotic zombie Jeri Ryan appeared in Harry Potter. Then she could say things like, "Resistence if futile, you will be zombified!"

Or maybe that was better in my head.

Occlumency - um, I've forgotten the details, but think art of shielding yourself from a telepathic attack. Which Harry failed at last book, and led to the death of his Godfather.

Slughorn's casual racism is dealt with very well, I thought, and I liked all the stuff about jam.

You are right about impractical wizard robes. Ergh.

I'm quite sure that the robes are button-up, at least for most wizards. This would be much more convenient.

sorry to disappoint you, but dolores umbridge is alive and well and working at the ministry of magic. damn centaurs....can't depend on them to do a complete job....

Also, I wasn't thrilled about her death or anything, anymore than I care about anyone else who died prior to this book. I'm sure if she survived she'll just die in some other book.
