OK, I gotta go back to work tonight, so I'm gonna make this one quick.

All right, then, Chapter 27? Dammit, I thought I already did this one. )

I'm settin' up a joke here, but I have to wait for Mike to get home from work and finish talking to his Playstation.

Dumbledore must have known he would die and he may have even ordered Snape to do it (remeber their fight earlier in the book). Snape may not be evil, but he's sure as hell not a good guy and he's probably only on his own side.

Trelawney, for once, saw this coming. I don't know if that has anything to do with anything.

Dumbledore must have known he would die

Big Al's behavior from Chapter 3 onward has long struck me as consistent with someone who knows his days are numbered and is putting his affairs in order. Then again, as early as book 4, I was expecting him to die no later than this anyway.

The old guy with the beard must die. :) I also guessed who would die before I started reading book six, but not how he would die. Snape killing one of the only people who has shown kindness to him was a bit of a shock, even if he had tons of reasons to do it.

I discovered Summary Executions a couple of months ago, posted to my journal about my favorite one (guess), and Mike's been calling him that ever since.
