"Ninomiya Kazunari huh?" Aiba scratched his head. Where did that name sound familiar? "Sure thing Oh-chan. Try to stay where you are and I'll come get him but since you're that far out and I’m still at port it'll take me a few days."

Aiba peered behind his shoulder to see two men and a woman. He knew what they were here for. "Okay! Bye Oh-chan." He took his hand off of the radio and swiveled his chair around to face the trio.

"Jun-tan, Sho-chan, Maki-san, what could have possibly have brought you to my boat?" Aiba's smile turned to fear when none of the three moved.

"Aiba," Jun broke his silence and linger towards Aiba. He slammed him into the wall and gripped the front of his shirt. "Is that how you address your boss?"

Maki placed her hand on Jun's shoulder making him drop Aiba. The sailor dropped down the ground. "It's okay Matsumoto-san. Aiba-san can call me whatever he wants."

"Horikita-san," Jun backed away. Aiba was panicking over his shirt. "Jun tan stretched out my shirt." Jun gave the older man the stink eye before returning to Maki's side. Aiba froze.

"Getting down to business," Maki walked over to Aiba. "I don't care about how many times you say that you don't know him, I know that you're hiding something." Maki inched her face closer to the scared man.

"Now tell me, where is my Kazu?"

Nino placed a plate full of salmon steaks on the lonely dinning table in the cramped room. Ohno’s face glowed with delight.

"I haven't had someone cook for me in ages!" The smile on the tan man's face was infectious in nature. Nino couldn't help but to smile back.

"It's the least I could do for a generous host like yourself." Nino sat down at the only other chair, the one opposite Ohno. He flashed his signature smile.

The two ate in silence. The fisherman never bothered to bring up any topics. Nino found this to be quite the awkward situation and tried to start a conversation.

"So," Nino poked the slab of pink meat on his plate. "Why is a lawyer fishing in the middle of the ocean?"

Ohno almost coughed his meal out of his mouth at the question. "Well, I felt like it was time for a change." Ohno couldn't tell the real reason to a simple stranger. Nino just wouldn't get it. "But I should at least get to know my guest. How did you end up in the middle of the ocean Nino-san?"

"I guess you have a right to know," Nino leaned back in his chair. "I'm a salary man from Tokyo who got lucky enough to marry a beautiful heiress named Horikita Maki." Nino's face softened at the name of his wife. "I loved her more than anything in the world.”

Ohno’s face lost all of it’s light.

"Our wedding was glamorous, all paid by her family. Knowing that I couldn't afford a spectacular honeymoon like what she wanted, Maki went ahead and paid for a private cruise ship just for the two of us. The only people aboard was the captain, the staff, Maki, Sho-kun; my long time friend and Maki's secretary, Matsumoto-san; Maki's body guard, and myself."

"The ship headed into a storm and I have a history of sea sickness so I left our room to empty my stomach overboard and find some patches for my sea sickness. After my dinner was fed to the fishes and I stuck a few patches on my arm, I heard a loud moaning coming from our room. Maki was yelling out Sho-kun's name louder and with more desire than she had ever yelled out my name. I walked in the room an saw what I feared the most, he was inside of her with no protection. I ran out of the room and towards the railing. I didn't care about what would happen to me, I just wanted to get away so I jumped off of the ship and let the waves carry me to where I am now."

Tears welled up in Nino's eyes. As Ohno reached across the table to wipe away the salary man's tears the boat suddenly jerked, throwing everything inside of it to one side. Nino covered his mouth and ran out to the deck. Ohno leaped over the mess in the cabin to the stairs that lead to the wheel.

From the window that could be seen from the captain's chair, Ohno could see Nino's fragile figure making it's may to the railing of the rocking ship. Even in such a venerable moment he looked so cute. A rough wave crashed into the boat causing it to tip to the other side. Ohno returned to reality and wrapped his long fingers around the wheel.

Nino looked up at the suddenly stormy sky. The sudden onset of grey clouds must be a bad omen. Nino then looked down at the rough seas and did what any seasick man would do, puke.

Ohno fought his fight against the storm in till the clouds parted, revealing a tropical sky once again. It was like the storm never came. He sighed in relief and looked down at Nino, who was still on the deck, to see that his stomach was settling down. Unknowingly, a smile crept upon the fisherman’s face.

Then he looked down at the navigation. Ohno’s thumb made it’s way over to the speaker. It pressed down on the button.

“Um, Nino-san?”

Nino turned his head up to the captain’s quarters at the sound of the staticy voice.

“I think we just crossed the international date line.”
