I went to a wedding for one of Evan's coworkers and the religious stuff made me uncomfortable. It really didn't relate at all to marriage, and felt like it was just thrown in there because the wedding took place in a church. It was odd. Didn't really like it all.

I went to a wedding earlier this month between two atheists. They had a friend officiate and it was absolutely beautiful because she actually had something to say about the couple. God was nowhere in sight and he wasn't missed at all.

That sounds exactly like what a wedding should be: celebration of the couple. Sounds really lovely.
