I talked to one of Meryl's friends before and he said that the reason there's a bar is because they make their own drinks! So I'm gonna make my own drink!

To be fair, Narshe is nestled high above the tree lines of the Narshe Mountains. Though, the Figaro Dessert is said to have been the sight of a great battle some thousand years ago, where the land was scorched so by the magical energies in play as to reduce the once lush forest into eternal dessert.
