[BANG-a marimo in boots and a long winter coat slams open the back door to Seventh Heaven and marches in on a cold wind, scowling, intent gaze scanning, scanning-locked on an orange-haired chibi sitting in a comfy booth with a blanket wrapped around her.]

[GAH. Jumping at the sound. Why would someone be so--

...who is this angry looking adult with green hair and why is he looking in her direction D8

He may notice there's a sack tucked into the booth next to her, really. His swords aren't exactly on display but it's hard to miss their shape.]

[He doesn't notice it yet, actually, though he will in a moment. Looking in Nami's direction quickly shifts to moving in her direction, and in several long strides he's planted in front of her booth, eyes raking her carefully.]

...Are you alright?

[...there sure are a lot of randomly considerate strangers in this town. Which in itself is faintly disconcerting (although nice, and she will totally take advantage of warmth and free meals), especially when she's clearly okay (isn't she?) and this man has apparently just...come charging in off the street to ask her this. Ergo, the look she gives him is very confused. But she'll answer the question.]

I'm fine. [Discounting her feet, but shh.] Who're you?

[Swords-->his-->stolen from pirates-->LOGICAL CONCLUSION--

--there's a squeak and a sudden shift-blur of movement as Nami drops out of sight under the table, leaving the blanket behind and scurrying out from underneath in any direction Zoro is not currently standing. This is what we call making a run for it D8 Sore feet, what are those in the face of attacking pirates. FLEE.]

[-Ah, shit, he forgot about-Zoro drops his swords without thought to clatter on the floor in his hasty scramble to intercept and scoop up the fleeing chibi. But what to do with a panicked, mini-navigator in his arms once he's got her-

He contains her flailing carefully enough so that she doesn't fling herself away, but basically lets her hit him as much as she wants because. He can't put her down just yet, and he knows that that sucks. Quietly,]

Hey. Hey. Sorry. Hey.

[Flailing indeed-- there's a high-pitched shriek, and she makes a couple of attempts at his face, but when one is dressed in a t-shirt and coat much better suited to a woman ten years older, it makes attacking scary pirates somewhat less than effective. He may get slapped with a coat sleeve once or twice. BUT. Panic mode, definitely engaged. Which means she's not listening just this moment. Sorry. >.> She's more than happy to yell back, though.]

Leggo! Let go!

Just-[ear-piercing yelling, agh :|]-I'm not gonna hur-[whapped across the face with a sleeve, yeah, okay, this isn't working 8|]

-Fine.

[He quick-steps back to the booth she just high-tailed it from and deposits her back in it-but sits next to her and also just happens to dump her on the abandoned blanket and arrange it and her oversized coat around her loosely rather like an oversized tortilla wrap, so slipping out from under like before? Not happening again in a hurry. 8|

-There, he's not holding you.]

Stay.

[There's some residual flailing after he dumps her back into the booth, which continues until such point as she realises he's not holding onto her anymore. And has failed to kill her, to boot. Which is confusing and upsetting and her pulse is still jumping far too fast, but it's enough that she stops panicking enough to give him the scowl of his life.

Very, very tempted to scream for help and say you're trying to kidnap her or kill her or something, Zoro. 8| Surely those really nice and not-pirates-in-any-way people like Sanji and Law would come beat you up. Sob But maybe she'll do that when he's not sitting so close. For now, glaring it is. And fast-thinking. Because uh. Maybe she can talk her way out of this.]

I just found them.

[Best lie ever.]

Next to my bed. [Which they will be having words about once she's back to normal. As it is, that came out as mild as Zoro is capable of speaking to someone who just reminded him she stole his swords-...>8|

...Eh-hem! The point is, she didn't manage to sell them, he's got them back, and he's trying not to freak the chibi out even more-she's scared enough already. ...More than.]
